It was five minutes after the bell rang when Koka Rozie said to go into our class, which happened to be moana two. Once we got there Koka Rozie told us all to get into a circle so we could make a list of advantages of growing your own food. The first few things that got on the list were obviously things like low expense and you feel proud when they are finished growing, but once all those were gone we had to start thinking and towards the end, we got good ones like no packaging and better for health.
After we had finished making the list we moved into action. What we were going to do was we were going to clean out all the class gardens so we could harvest all the plants and make a plan for them. But first we went to the enviro shed to get rakes, shovels and gardening supplies.
After we had finally gotten all the supplies we moved onto the gardening. It was hard work but finally by brain break I think we had made progress.
Now that it was past brain break a person named Kauri was going to come in to talk to us. At first she talked to us about boats and teamwork and stuff but finally we moved onto some fun. What we did was she gave out some kind of map which we had to find a whole bunch of things on it, but before I knew it, it was morning tea. Once morning tea was over we continued to do gardening and same with after lunch and once the bell rung at the end of the day we could feel like we had accomplished something because a woce gint garden was empty.
