Kapa Haka

Neke ma.to the. the kaia said and the first song started with great clarity and volume. It was Kapa Haka time and we were recording our performance in  our hall at Wainui Beach School. It was nine thirty and we had just started.

Because the kaia had said neke mato every other person in the lin would step out. That meant only three people were in front of me. I was in the boys second row. The boys rows were at the back behind the girls. But when we stepped out into the gaps there were only all together three people in front of me.

After the first song finished we did two more, then the Kaia said neke moui and I went back to my place in line. Then we did our transition huka. It's a great haka especially because the girls can participate in it. When we finished the transition we were at the front and the girls were at the back. That's when we started the boys scary haka. Quamo said the boy Kaia, and we all said, HE. Then we finished the haka.

After that we transitioned back and finished with one more song.
THE END

Green Team Proformance

The first character stepped out onto the stage. It was crayfish, and two others followed. It was Tuesday middle block, and we were in the Illiminster hall. A group of kids, who we apart of a group called the green team, were performing for us.

As I said before, the first character to step out onto the stage was a crayfish, two others followed. It turned out that the first character out, was the character who was playing the part of a granny called Granny Kora. They started the play with the finishing of a story. Then after the to other crayfish begged for just one more she gave them three kitchens, two of which I forget but the one that they chose was the time Granny Kora saved the world from aliens. Once the story was chosen the real play began.

Just after the two crayfish chose the story one of them left to play another part. As that happened the Granny had started to tell the story. As she was telling the story some people came into the play, they were meant to be acting out what happened in according to the story, and it worked like a charm.

As the play carried on some aliens came and dumped rubbish in a skate park, that was actually a painting in the play. The aliens dumped the rubbish in the the after which some kids did the same thing. They even dumped a perfectly good robot.

In the end of the play, the kids, they got the robot to call the aliens and  meat the crayfish. She looked like their all powerful queen so when she told them to go they left with their trash.

That was the Green Team Performance

EL3 SPaG

In EL3 SPaG today koka pip wanted us to make a rectangle out of paper using separate squares with words on the edges. The words on the edges were each half if sayings and we needed to put the sayings together then if we did it all correctly we would make a rectangle and on the outside there would be words that didn't belong to sayings and those words would be the clue in a ongoing murder mystery.

We started by cutting out the squares. The we put them together, and as we, I meen me and a kid named Prince. After a little bit we thought we were nearly done but we kept running into problems. I thought we should be doing three by fore not two by five we ket doing it two by fore.

Evenchily a group that had help from a teacher and there whole group finished first, then one second later another group finished two and that group was big. Somehow it turned out that we did have to do three by fore, so I was right all along. One we started with three by fore we finished really quickly.

Then we wrought the clue down and crossed off the people on the suspect sheet.

Simple order opirations

In my Level 3 Plus math group we learned order of operations these operations work along the lines of BEDMAS. B for brackets, E for Exponents , D for Division, M for multiplication, A for addison and S for subtraction. Then in the odder of bedmas you do the question. So if their brackets you do them first then you would go to exponents and so on you don't follow the odder of the numbers in the question.

After we learned that, we went onto doing lots of questions to make shore that we understood. Their was one hard one and our teacher had to look at the instructions to figure it out. Once she explained how to do the hard one we finished the others.

That was my math workshop in simple order opirations.
