Week 2

The first thing I did this week was my ninja maths. It took ages to get to the correct page in my math book but when I did I wrote down all my math questions down and with a line to separate the first, the second section and the third section. Then I did all the answers I answered the ones I thought were correct and the ones I didn't know I would highlight. I didn't highlight anything in the first section but in the second section I got some and in third section I nearly got all highlighted.

This was woodwork. The first word work was the word "educate". The first thing I did with the word was wright the word twice. Then there was the word educates and then I have to wright the S next to a educate word that is already printed there. Then I do it again but this time I do it with ING at the end and so on. After I finished the first sheet I moved onto the second sheet. That sheet was about the word "clean" and I did the same first thing which is writing the word with editions on the letters.

The next thing I did was my quick right which was about a healthy lifestyle . The quick right had two parts. The first part was brainstorm and the second part was the the question answering part. I started with the brainstorm, I watched the video and as I wrote down information and every once and a while I  stopped the video. Next I moved onto the answering question part, using the Info from the brainstorm  I answered all the questions.

Winter Brake

During the brake my family went to Rotiwe which is close to Rotorua. Every day we went to Rotorua to go logging mounting and more. I am going to talk to you about to things I did there.

One of the first things we did in Rotorua was go to Motion Entertainment which is pretty much like an arcade, a Laser tag course, a mini golf course, a trampoline park and a bowling alley. The problem was that at Motion Entertainment you didn't have to pay to enter but you did have to pay to do everything in it. Even though it was frustrating that you had to pay for everything I couldn't avoid the temptation to do laser tag. The one problem with laser tag is that there was no cover and there were so many people that the moment after you were able to tag people again you got shot so you were never in.

The last thing we did in Rotorua was going down the luge. At first I didn't want to go down the luge because it just sounded boring but after one run down the luge I really wanted to go down again. Before we went down the luge we had to wait in a line to by our gondola tickets and our luge tickets. The first people in line get to go first and then when then when they come back up they get to go in a short line. There were three different luge tracks but one of them was closed (the edvanced) and apparently that one has been closed for a very long time. Every time I went down the luge I went down the intermediate path. The last time I did it I wanted to go down the scenic (beginner) but noone wanted to go down with me so I went down the intermediate.

Matariki Puzzle

The teacher handed me a piece of paper and I went to my favorite desk. Then I went around the classroom looking for the sheets of paper. The first sheet of paper was confusing but I finally figured it out. I answered the questions on the peace of paper like right a wish here and braw a kite here but slowly I got onto the hard questions like sentences with blankspaces in them but once I realized that the cards had the same sentences but with the correct answers it was very simple.

Next I moved onto the coloring stage. I colored in all the trees people goods and everything else. It was harder than it sounds. I had to choose new colors every picher and then I would change back to them witch made it take for ever.

After that I moved onto cutting out and pasting the puzzle pieces that I had been righting on. I started cutting out with big scissors but after three puzzle pieces I got small scissors and it started going much faster. The problem was that the scissors were all blunt so I had to get a new pair half way through.

Once I got my green background paper I moved onto seeing were all the puzzle pieces went and it took a little rearranging and annoyance at myself but finally I got all the puzzle pieces glued on the green paper in the right order.

Finally I asked Tilly what to do and she said to put a border around my puzzle and to right my name, but after I did that Korka Terry told me to make my border more quality and to mack the the background have patterns. So after I did that I had finished my Matithike activity.
